The flashlight features a red bulb, which could be used as a signaling device (backpacking) or on some of the night activities we’re planning for this summer’s Michigan camp. The red light won’t frighten wildlife. It also won’t blind your hiking buddy or dog if you accidentally shine it in their eyes. The whistle/flashlight combo is a must have for your dog’s backpack.
